What a fantastic opportunity for our student Rosie at Blyth Live on Saturday singing to thousands of people on the sunny coast! ☀️🏖️ She was absolutely outstanding and absolutely smashed the three songs she sung👏🎤 Huge thank you to her tutor Georgia for helping her get this far and building her confidence and stage presence 🙏 We love to provide our students with as many opportunities as we can within the community and we hope we get many more chances to do so 🤞 Rosie is a prime example of a hard working, dedicated student and has been coming since the early days of our music school. We are very proud of what she has achieved and can’t wait to show off the other talent and confidence our students have at our Summer show on Thurs 30th July 🎶

We are gutted that we are temporarily losing our tutor Chris due to personal health reasons. Chris has been a huge asset to us on Wednesdays with his huge multi-instrumental ability to teach violin, flute, banjo, cello, mandolin, guitar, ukulele and more! 🎶 Thankfully we still teach a lot of these instruments through our other tutors and we wish Chris a safe and successful recovery - we hope to see him again in November 🙏 All the best mate! 😃🎻🪕

We are thrilled to announce the newest member to our team; Emily! 🥳 Emily will be teaching singing on a Friday, replacing Josh starting from Fri 8th May 🎤 Emily has qualifications in Grade 8 Theatre, Grade 5 Singing, Grade 2 Piano and like all of our team, is fully enhanced DBS checked👌 Slots available to book now! 🎶

We had an amazing show on Thursday last weekend for our Easter Concert 🎶🐰🍫 We are continually proud of our students and there were so many examples of students going out of their comfort zones, performing for the first time, improving from their last performances or purely just joining in and having fun which is what it’s all about 👏 Well done to all of those involved and thank you to the tutors who helped out. 3 years of Kewen School of Music 🎶🥳 This picture is from our opening day on 27th March 2023 when we had musician Andrew Cushin come down and Mayor & Counsellor at the time Warren and Kath help represent Blyth. We had our first lesson later that day and since we’ve had thousands more bookings, a current team of 18 staff members and a countless amount of pride and achievement in what we do.
